A Permanent Reminder of my trip to Malaga

On the first day of my work experience the owner / tattoo artist Martin explained to me that the next day he had to fly to Italy as he had a tattoo parlour there too that he needed to visit for a few days. Because it was his last day in the shop and sadly he wouldn't be back until after the Erazmus programme had ended, I decided that I wanted to get a tattoo done by him as a reminder of my time here in Malaga.

One of the days before hand we had gone on a walking tour of Malaga's city centre. The tour guide brought us down one of the main streets for souvenir shopping where she stopped us outside a particular shop to point out a flower. She told us that it was one of Malaga's most well-known flowers, the Biznaga. I then decided that the flower was what I wanted to incorporate into my tattoo.

I had the pleasure of co-designing the tattoo design with Martin and after a few different ideas we finally came up with the idea of a bunch if 3 Biznaga flowers overlapping at the stems. I was so excited to get it done and im so very happy with how it turned out!

As I am eager to learn the in's and out's of the tattoo industry Martin was talking me through everything that he was doing as he was doing the tattoo to give me as much knowledge and learning experience as possible. I think it's safe to say I'll definitely remember this experience for the rest of my life.
